Bj & Wanda brought great energy to our annual employee Christmas social and they were wonderful to work with. The food, presentation, and staff were exceptional also. For a group of 230 guests everyone enjoyed what they had to offer.

On Wednesday, November 2 at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, staff held a Retirement Party for Operations and Husbandry Director Frank Hudgins. With invited guest and staff we need a variety of items that would suite our guest of honor and others. BJ's Catered the entire event and Frank said to me and others, "this was one of the best parties I have attended at the Aquarium!" Great job BJ & Wanda. The staff at the Aquarium appreciated everything you did for us to make Frank's Retirement Party a memorable occasion

Simply Remarkable! Wanda's recommendations of mouth watering pulled pork, chicken, cole slaw, salads,baked beans,some corn bread created that North Carolina feeling we wanted to provided for family and friends from Colorado, Virginia, Michigan, Connecticut, St. Louis, Boston.... truly she is the Paula Dean of the Outer Banks... and a special thank you for delicious cakes. Another delightful surprise was the service provided for the entire party, Wanda was gracious, fun and provided everything we could have imagined. Truly a Treat. Thank you Wanda!

We were so pleased with our son and daughter-in-law's amazing reception at BJ’s Cafe. From beginning to end, our experience was seamless. Wanda, B.J. and their staff were so personable, accommodating and responsive. The venue was beautiful - the ambiance of the Currituck Room with its outdoor garden area and fountain made for a very magical day for the bride and groom and wedding guests. The food was wonderfully displayed, delicious and the service impeccable. I highly recommend BJ’s for an ideal mainland wedding reception venue. We feel blessed to have discovered BJ’s and now have wonderful memories of that unforgettable day. Thanks BJ’s for making the day so perfect.

My son and daughter-in-law recently had the wedding of their dreams on the beach in Rodanthe NC. I was a little anxious planning a wedding using a caterer that my daughter-in-law found on the internet. But it was what she wanted so it was what she got. Wanda and BJ and their entire family could not have been better.

The food was the best I had ever tasted and Wanda thought of everything. Through the many phone calls and emails, by the time we got to NC Wanda felt like family. Everything was perfect.

We contracted with BJ and Wanda to help us with our End-of-the-Year Celebration. BJ personally delivered our food on time. The crab dip was to die for!!! It was hot and very tasty. Our fruit basket was beautifully done. We appreciate the expertise of their artistic
food displays as well as great food. I would recommend them for a wedding, graduation, anniversary, or just plain ole pig pickin'!!

Having been assigned the task of sourcing a out-of state caterer for my employer's event gave me cause for I was a bit apprehensive with the thought of contracting an out-of-state caterer to provide both a favorable and memorable experience for my employer's event. From the get-go, Wanda was attentive to every detail. I wish I was there to have enjoyed the experience. I am extremely thankful for everthing Wanda and BJ did to make the event so special. My next task now is to convince my employer to hold ALL his events in Wanda and BJ's area.

My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and we are so glad we chose Wanda and BJ to do our catering. Not only was it the best BBQ we have ever had but their presentation was so beautiful! We wanted BBQ but were worried that it wouldnt look formal enough for our venue but that is not a problem for Wanda. Everything looked so upscale and classy. I also highly reccommend the crab dip. My guests are STILL raving about it! Wanda was also so easy to work with and helped me any way I needed it. When we came into town a few months before the wedding they brought us to the restaurant even though it was closed and cooked us a ton of food and packed us some to take home. They really treated us like family. With their service and prices they can't be beat.

We chose them to cater our last family event and it was wonderful. The room was big enough for our entire family and friends and we were not crowded at all. There is also a private fenced in area right outside of the room, and this area was perfect for our children to play and men to just get away. There was plenty of parking and no one had any issues the entire time. It was more than we had hoped for. I am very thankful to them for making our day. I also used their party space for my baby shower and it turned out to be very lovely. All of our food on both occasions came from Wanda and it was wonderful. Everything stayed the temperature it was supposed to be and when something got low, they were right there to replace it with new. Over all it was a very pleasant experience and I would, or will probably be attending another occasion there very soon. Thank you to BJ’s for everything they did for us, and we will never forget it.

Wanda and BJ took great care in creating the perfect atmosphere for our rehearsal dinner. They came to our beach cottage and set everything up. The layout of the food was absolutely gorgeous and tasted like perfection! They are extremely friendly and have such great Carolina charm. Their team is very professional and allowed us to put the details in their hands without a worry. I recommend them to anyone for either a wedding or rehearsal dinner. Thank you Wanda and BJ for making our day so special!!
