UNC Opera presents a delightfully effervescent program of operatic music by the prolific 19th c. French composer Jacques Offenbach. Fortunately, it all ends in romantic happiness with the promise of an impending marriage. Scenes from the well-loved "Tales of Hoffman" will follow, including the famous duet "Belle nuit" and the brilliant coloratura aria "The Doll Song." UNC Opera Director: Terry Ellen Rhodes, Pianists: Grace Lloyd and Emily Russ.
